Ooh, I can't wait for these two games. Though I think Max Payne 3 comes out for PC 2 weeks later?
I don't see why developers don't just GIVE us the content they "lock" on the disc from the start. I feel like trivial things like hidden stages, extra costumes or secret items etc.; things we got used to obtaining on a regular basis in the last generation of gaming, now all need to be paid for, even if said content is already available to use.
Well Sega's been on the right track so far. VF5:FS coming to console this summer, hopefully PSO2 comes to the west as well. All they need now is polished Sonic game with more than 1 year of development time. Cue Sonic Adventure 3...
Why not? So long as its development process won't compromise the the PC/MAC version coming out next week, (which it can't at this point), or future expansions of Diablo, it can go anywhere they want.
When did they ever say you'd be at any disadvantage by not joining a crew? The only affected in-game mechanics are subtle and don't really affect the gameplay
I know man I can't wait...
for tekken games, that's actually quite a lot of cutscenes.
For nearly any new major online-centered title, the servers usually can't handle the load at launch; that's to be expected. Really comes down to how Blizzard anticipates the load and if they've learned from their mistake with WoW...then again SC2 launched pretty well so I wouldn't worry too much
pretty accurate list. I'm going to first try the monk even though he/she's kind of weak right now, the class just looks interesting to me.
"my panties are fine, but thanks for caring. "
you wear panties?
You do know Gon is already in the game and there's no need to download him...?
Blizzard games are always made with low-end PC's in mind, and the graphics are very scalable. I daresay if you can run Battlefield 2 at modest settings, Diablo III will not be an issue.
lets hope it feels like a true successor to the first Crysis/Warhead
Definitely picking up Max Payne as soon as its out. Surprised no one mentions Diablo III?
Capcom just shouldn't do DLC, because they certainly can't seem to get it right.
I just hope they develop on PC from the ground up first , and not being a port from the 360 version like Crysis 2. I'm a bit sketchy as to the improvements of the engine though, as it hasn't been a long time since Crysis 2 was released.
Downloadable content was originally supposed to be used as a means to expand a game's content post-release, meaning the content has yet to be created. In PC gaming in particular, it's commonly known as "expansions." Day-one DLC, and on-disc "DLC" are abusing the concept solely for marketing purposes.
I would less disdainful if there was content stored on a disc but locked, however said content was unfinished and does not require me to pay for it w...
its killing all fighting games, both 2d and 3d these days. People are going to be in for quite a shock when they see VF5:FS when it hits EU and US territories...
@DaPrintz I second that about using the GOW3 engine for Ascension. I personally favor GOW3's pixar-like art-style, and I'm sure the engine has been optimized even further since then to run faster/look better etc..
$15 bucks for a fully-fledged virtua fighter? You'd have to be a total idiot to not take up this deal
